What to expect for paint class at my studio:Create your own masterpiece through a guided demonstration.

The Use of High Quality Paints and Brushes.
Meeden Table Top Easels
Aprons: However; wear clothes that you won't mind getting paint on them.
Painting classes are held upstairs in a Log Cabin; or if weather permits; outside.
Expect a two-hour paint session.
This is a non-smoking, pet-friendly environment.
Feel free to bring your own snacks.
Bring an open mind and be ready to have an exciting experience!
Paintings are for all skill levels. You can do it!
The majority of the artwork is on a 11x16 canvas board ($35) that has a double gesso in black to hold the paint. It's easiest for all skill levels. A few paintings are on a *12x12 canvas and the paint your very own pet is on a *16x20 canvas. Most paintings can also be done on a *charcuterie board or a *wine bottle with lights. Prices vary on this *items.

Ask me about fundraising events or donations. Gift Certificates are available. I'm also mobile and will come to you! Minimum seating (eight) required for all mobile events.

About The Gallery In the Woods

Over Thirteen years ago, my friend invited me to a paint and sip party. Today, my passion is painting! My goal is that you will find painting as a relaxing and therapeutic experience.

I have a Master's Degree in Art (Leadership Communications.) I am a self- taught artist, with my own unique and fun way of teaching an easy method of painting. I learned to paint before I learned to draw. My experimentation with paint has allowed me to create mistakes and learn how to fix them. My style is freestyle with an expression that helped me cope and survive a cancer diagnosis.

I'm humble for the opportunity to dream and to open an art studio. I spent considerable time adding the right lighting, adjusting, and finding the best wooden easels and selecting the best time frames where natural light shines though the skylights in a natural country setting. I offer a variety of high- quality brushes, paint and canvas. It is my goal that you will share a love for acrylic painting! I invite you to join me for a relaxing experience, where I will support and encourage you, for the love of paint!
